St Peters Lutheran School Early Learning Centre

Child Care Sydney lists St Peters Lutheran School Early Learning Centre in Blackwood, who continued to provide excellent Occasional Care care, education and support for the children and their families of Blackwood Australia.

The Early Learning Centre opened in Term 1 2007,  enrolments for the centre are accepted for children aged 3-5 years. To register your interest please download and complete the Preliminary Application for Enrolment.

The Early Learning Centre aims to provide an innovative inquiry-based curriculum designed to cater to each child’s individual learning style and needs while allowing each to develop their full potential.

The Early Learning Centre adopted an internationally focused curriculum framework as part of the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO). Student portfolios provide detailed snapshots of children’s learning to ensure that parents share in their child’s learning journey.

Eight learning areas have been incorporated into a thematic approach to learning in which the children are able to explore, discover, solve problems and be challenged through these meaningful experiences. These learning areas are Mathematics, English, Christian studies, Society and the Environment, Science and Technology, Health and Physical Education and The Arts (drama and music).
